About Ali

(she/her)

I am a social worker, yoga teacher, certified rest coach & yoga nidra facilitator, mother, wife, sister, daughter and community member. I have practiced social work for many years in several settings. For the last decade, I have been building a private practice where I work with women, mothers and caregivers, including helping professions like social workers.

You can often find me exploring nature with my family, playing with yoga, running, biking, hiking & swimming, creating art and guiding or practicing yoga nidra.

As a mother and social worker, I know first hand some of the challenges of taking care of myself while I am caring for others. Having a village of supports, including a compassionate therapist, can make a tremendous impact. I am passionate about exploring the cycles of our bodies and nature to support wellness. I believe that when we find a balance of daily practices, skills, mindsets, movement and rest our bodies are able to best support our emotional well being through anxiety, depression and trauma.
